Does God lavish His Spirit on you and work miracles among you because you practice the law, or because you hear and believe?
Galatians 3:5 (BSB)
Spring is here! If you have ever doubted God’s miraculous power, now is the time to step outside and witness nature’s beauty. The eruption of colors, bird songs, and new life during Spring delight our senses and uplift our souls. Recent studies have shown that living close to nature can have significant and wide-ranging health benefits, including lower rates of heart disease, type-2 diabetes, and stress.
Moses led God’s people out of Egypt during springtime. The Red Sea miraculously parted, allowing them to cross safely while their enemies drowned as the waves collapsed. We should pay attention to God’s appointed times. Springtime is a powerful reminder that it’s time for our restoration, regeneration, and miracles.
No matter how skilled or capable we consider ourselves, it is essential to remember that the true power lies with the Holy Spirit. Through our faith in Christ, the Holy Spirit can work miracles in our lives. Our role is to trust and obey. For example, when Jesus Christ returned to His hometown of Nazareth, He could not perform the miracles He desired because of the lack of belief among the people there. Why not start on the right foot as Spring envelops us, believing we will see miracles in the coming year for ourselves, our country, and our community?
Consider placing your trust in God’s promises for a higher level of thinking. Jot down the miracle you rely on God for and maintain your faith as the year progresses. Don’t let doubts creep in by affirming the truth of His promises. Even if circumstances appear impossible, remember that Jesus said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” Spring is shouting, “New beginnings for a season of miracles has arrived.”
